42. I guess maybe it's not that funny sometimes in one's life, but I like those books. It really confuses people who haven't read them; they can't really understand if they haven't. {If I'm presuming incorrectly that you have read them when you haven't, I can give a short version, but like I said, not the same.} I get awfully tired of making references no one gets. It gets lonely. It's bad enough so much of me is allusion, or at least that's the sort of thought those moments bring to mind. I miss you. I also feel jerky because there is so much you have written, in my guestbook and in here, that I should have responded to. {I know, the s-word isn't such a good thign to use. It is how I feel, though.} I guess I just wish I had been more responsive; there is almost always something in there I want to say, or at least some feeling, even if I don't exactly have words. you don't need me to tell you this, but treatment helps. and you deserve that. my own struggles are at least partly with the idea that i deserve to be helped; i would hate for you to go through the same thing, because it's isolating, and it hurts, and you deserve something better than that. for whatever it's worth.
