thanks, I hope everything is going well for you. I can understand the need to escape...Wordsworth so aptly put it: "the world is too much with us". 42. I guess maybe it's not that funny sometimes in one's life, but I like those books. It really confuses people who haven't read them; they can't really understand if they haven't. {If I'm presuming incorrectly that you have read them when you haven't, I can give a short version, but like I said, not the same.} I get awfully tired of making references no one gets. It gets lonely. It's bad enough so much of me is allusion, or at least that's the sort of thought those moments bring to mind. I miss you. I also feel jerky because there is so much you have written, in my guestbook and in here, that I should have responded to. {I know, the s-word isn't such a good thign to use. It is how I feel, though.} I guess I just wish I had been more responsive; there is almost always something in there I want to say, or at least some feeling, even if I don't exactly have words. Anyhow. Hi. I hope you are hanging in there. You are too great not to. We need hugs and coffee. And, maybe some gin and tonics. *mwuah* (((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))) I am here if you need me. you don't need me to tell you this, but treatment helps. and you deserve that. my own struggles are at least partly with the idea that i deserve to be helped; i would hate for you to go through the same thing, because it's isolating, and it hurts, and you deserve something better than that. for whatever it's worth. like dying in bed... "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel, from Say Anything. I love that scene.. John Cusak kicks tush. And "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John.. from that scene on the tour bus in ALmost Famous. Also a big tear jerker for me. 'shortly before the end'-OK go. it is the song you hear when the teary eyed girl holds her newly found love in her arms as he slowly gargles his confessions of love apoligizies and fades to black. 'The Ghost In You' by The Counting Crows. It works as the camera pans from the driver in the oh-so-hot-car to the girl being left behind in total confusion and agony.
